Addici won the procurement of telephony services to the County Council of Uppsala
On 1 April Addici takes over the assignment that extends over four years with the possibility of further extension. All personnel manning the switchboard today has been offered and accepted a job with Addici and operations will remain in existing premises close to the University Hospital. With the help of Addici the council estimates to make savings of 1.3 million per year.
- It is pleasing to win this contract against tough competition, says Rikard Wannerholt, CEO Addici. It confirms that we have competitive telephony solutions and that we can deliver quality service in sensitive and socially critical environments. In recent years Addici has strengthen its telephony operations. With this deal we will become even stronger within telephony to the public sector and not least to county council operations, where we currently have clients such as Dalarna County Council, Region Skåne and now the County Council of Uppsala.
Addici will handle all incoming calls to the hospital, which is about 25 000 calls a week. The mission is managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Telephony is a high priority activity for us and we are pleased to partner with such a professional and specialised actor as Addici. We feel confident with Addici as a supplier and this deal will also provide development opportunities for the employees that we can not provide within the county council, says Thord Hägg, Director of County Services, Uppsala County Council.
